Spontaneous Photo Shoots Are Fun

So I did a random shoot with an old classmate, Kate. We shot these photos at an abandoned farmers market/ parking lot in Alton, Il. We had fun and the weather was PERFECT. These are some of my favorite photos.

 I'm really not feeling my outfit for today so that will just have to wait for my next post. My closet is SCREAMING for my to swap my summer to fall clothing items.. My jeans, boots, cardigans, and long sleeves are ready to bust out and make a statement. So many new items I'm waiting so patiently to wear!!

Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough?

Okay so I'm not very fond of this photo, in fact I pretty much hate it... but this is what I wore to work today minus the pumps.. I KNOW I KNOW, my pants are too big... I guess that's been a real problem anymore. Aside of that, I really love minty green, turquoise, coral, gold, khaki/nude/tan and brown/ orange shades. I'm sure you'll see more of those than anything.. and black! My mint top shown in the photograph is so much cuter on than what the reviews on Forever21.com were stating. It was so soft and I was complimented by strangers at work the entire day! The color scheme I implied today was for a treat that I don't crave in taste, but in sight, being a mint chocolate chip.

Awkward and Awesome?

I'm not really comfortable showing my work attire today, my pencil skirt was about two sizes too big so an iPhone photograph wouldn't do my 5'3" self any justice. On the bright side, when I returned home it was gloomy outside, still, so I decided to color up my outfit and throw some bright red pumps on with my over-sized top and and destroyed skirt. I'm not usually this floral, or colorful.. Such a strange day! This photo is TERRIBLE because I was at home unfortunately.. No boyfriend or friend to take my picture!

Not so fashionable...Sunday!

Day 1.

I'm beginning this new journey with a shorter blog. I'm sure in time these will become more fun! I'm going to base this one off of one of my favorite photos from my gallery, and my outfit from today. It IS Sunday, so I don't dare dress up unless I have plans. Sundays are my days to do laundry and just soak up the weekend before heading back to work on Monday. 

Old Lynyrd Skynyrd shirt and underwear it is! (I didn't think my underpants would be appropriate for a first post.. My hair is just pulled back so it looks super grungy.. Ready for a nice wash! So long Sunday!
